Bag Boy...

Nico has loved doing this since he was little. Check out 'Silly Boys' from October 2008.

Glowgolf...

Gabby, Paige and Robbie came up for a visit today. We hit Opry Mills for some Glowgolf fun! Nico really got the hang of it...well, sort of. He started out trying to hit the ball with the club, but ended up just dropping the ball in the hole. Hey, he knew the ball was supposed to go in the hole!

Fun with Mustard...

We had dinner at Johnny Rocket's tonight. Nico loved his grilled cheese and french fries. He usually begs for ketchup, but tonight he really dug the mustard...and it was all caught on film!

Going to See the Animals Down at the Zoo...

We took our weekly trip to the zoo on Wednesday and I actually brought my camera this time!!! I got these pictures while we were in the reptile exhibit...ah, A/C!
I think there was a snake in this case.
Thanks, Gabby, for coming with us!
"Eek, lizard!"
"Tuddle."

Our Little Chef...

Last week, Gabby brought up some fresh peaches from Isom's Orchard. We decided to make a quick peach cobbler (yummy) and Nico was there to help out. He did really well...most of it stayed in the bowl!
Mix, mix, mix!

What's Been Going On...

Sorry. I am a little behind in posting to the blog. We've been keeping busy, as usual. Back at the beginning of the month we (me and Nico) went down to the beach with Gabby, Aunt Sarah, Emma and Eli. Nico really liked playing in the sand and floating in the ocean. I don't usually like being in the ocean, but the water was so calm and clear that I didn't mind. We, along with Sarah and Emma floated around for like 2 hours one day...it was great!!! I forgot my camera (duh!!!) so am going to have to post some pictures of that trip later. Stay tuned!

Now onto what's been going on lately. The other day it was rainy out, so I decided that both Nico and I would stay in our pj's ALL day. Here are some of our activities for the day:
Building with Lego's and wooden blocks.
Sitting in the Lego wagon.
Brushing his teeth while sitting in the Lego wagon :)

The Wedding Day...

Nico and I were both in Brandi and Ben's wedding. I was a bridesmaid and Nico was the ring bearer. Needless to say, my schedule was pretty hectic. Luckily, mom, David, Ashley and Andy were all there to help out with the little man. On the day of the wedding, I met up with Brandi and the other girls to get our hair done. Then it was off to get dressed and put our makeup on. By the time we got done, it was wedding time!!!
This was the view from the salon where we got our hair done...AMAZING!!!
The bride-to-be :)
All of us with our big hair!!!
The ring bearer hitting the dance floor. No one else was dancing and I think the band was actually just warming up :)
Getting a little more comfortable!Laughing.
Nico loves to throw his head back and fake laugh when he sees others laughing That's what he's doing here-such a cheese ball!
Proud parents!
Nico did really well considering he had no idea what was going on or what he was supposed to do. Mom sat in the second row (armed with a favorite toy) and David stayed at the back with the rest of the bridal party. When it was Nico's turn, David handed him the pillow and told him to go get Giggy. Nico grabbed the pillow by a ribbon and carried it that way all the way down to Giggy. It looked like the pillow had cooties. Too cute!!!
Audrey and Lindsey
The happy couple. This is the only picture I got of them. We were too busy dancing our booties off!!!

Off to Breckenridge...

After spending the night in Denver on Wednesday, we headed to Breckenridge.
Nico wrestling the bolster pillow at our hotel in Denver. Nico won, hands down!
Our first meal in Breck-My Thai...it was OK.
Lindsey, Mom and Ashley stop for a photo opp in Breck.
Papa tickling Nico with a pine tree.
In line for a crepe with Nutella and dark chocolate...YUMMY!!! Best crepe I've ever had!
Nico in our "lodge". Our hotel room was huge!!! And whoever decorated it took the mountain lodge theme and RAN with it!!! All of the furniture was made of logs...it was hilarious!!!
Looking out at the river while we were at dinner at Mi Casa-probably the best Mexican I've ever had. Needless to say, based on my posts, the food in Breckenridge was very good!!!

First Flight...

Our family, along with mom, Ashley and Andy headed out to Colorado to attend Brandi and Ben's wedding. This was Nico's first time to fly. He did pretty well on the way there. It was nice because we were all sitting together, so when he got tired of sitting with me he could go to Giggy or LaLa or papa. By the time we headed back he was pretty tired. He didn't cry, he just whined a little when the plane was landing in Nashville. Plus, he doesn't know how to whisper yet. He loved telling everyone (and I mean everyone) on the plane that we were on an "Air-pane". For his first experience, we can't complain!!!
Waiting to get on the plane.
Our little pilot.
Playing with Giggy's headphones. He thought it was so fun to put it up to his ear and hear sound.

Birthday Fun...

I know, I know-it's been awhile. Well let me catch you up. Back in July, Nico's cousin, Emma, turned 2!!! We had a blast at her birthday party at The Little Gym in Huntsville. Here are some pictures from the day.
Nico playing and waiting for the festivities to begin. Nico did SUPER considering the party took place during his nap time.
The birthday girl...so cute!!!

Let the party begin! Yay! Bubbles!

Nico loved his cupcake and Capri Sun. Thanks Roaps for a great time!!!
