Dining al fresco...

We've been doing a lot of this lately...eating OUTSIDE!!! David has been gone all week and we've been entertaining ourselves by enjoying lunch and dinner out on the back deck. Here he is showing me his Raisinets...that was dessert, not dinner :)

A New Do and a Day at the Zoo...

So Nico got his hair cut awhile back, but these are the first good shots I've gotten of it. I had it styled in a sort of Euro soccer dude, faux-hawk...it's grown out a lot, but it's super cute. I think we'll keep it this way for awhile!
Looks a little bit like a rat tail...those are coming back, you know!!!
So grown up!
The weather has been BEAUTIFUL this week and boy have we taken advantage!!! We went to the zoo the other day with some friends from playgroup. Here's Nico and Ella petting a cute little goat!
I promise he smiles. He actually smiles all of the time! You wouldn't know it from these pics!
What was he most intrigued with at the zoo??? The landscapers' machine!!! Loving yard tools-just like his papa!

Undies...

We are nowhere near potty training, but aren't these just the cutest things?!?

Our Little Tiger...

...the good golf player Tiger. Not the cheating, girl-crazy Tiger. Nico is really loving golf these days. I think I mentioned that in a previous post. The weather was beautiful last week so we took to the greens. Well the greenish grass of our yard, at least! Dad and Tammy got him this cute golf set, complete with a golf bag, for Christmas. We just took it out of the box last week. He calls it his vacuum. It does kind of look like a vacuum. Anyway, he totally loves it!
Good shot!
What's up with these plastic clubs? I want the real deal!
These old golf clubs did come in handy...after we dusted off the cobwebs!
I think he needs one his own size!

Swim Lessons...

David and I got Nico swim lessons for his birthday. He is doing pretty well. He is definitely a lot more comfortable in the water. He has a hard time staying focused, but, hey, he's two! We also think he has his first crush...Olivia, or Livia as he calls her. She's three and she's so cute!!! He usually talks about her all day Friday and all day Saturday. So cute!!!
Splish, splash!

Mommy's Shoes and Golf...

I know, it's a strange title. This is what we did on Friday to kill a little time before nap time.
Nico has been WAY into golf lately. He pretty much wants to play gold every waking minute. Yes, that is a mini Louisville Slugger he is using as a club :)
And then he ran around the living room with my shoes on. Such a clown!!!

Build-a-Bear...

Last week Nico went to Build-a-Bear for the first time. I think I was more excited than he was. He liked it OK, he was just very distracted. And who wouldn't be in that store?!?! I think it will be a couple of years before we go back.
Choosing a heart and shamrock for his doggy.
Helping build his doggy.
It's bath time!
Time to give that pup a name.
The name on his birth certificate is "Doggy", but David renamed him when we brought him home. We introduce...Barf! He really looks like John Candy's character from Space Balls!
