Happy Fall Y'all...

Mom and Cat always set up an elaborate fall scene in their front yard. We took advantage of the sunshine yesterday and did a little photo shoot. Nico was pretty cooperative! We got some good ones...and some funny ones!
Taking time to smell the flowers. Pretty sure mums don't smell that great. That probably explains the face!
This is what I got when I asked him to show me his teeth. Clown!!!
Good one!
Show mommy the pumpkin! Oh, so heavy! Just kidding...it's artificial!
Think he was saying his ABC's in this one. Sort of looks like a real smile!

Molasses Festival...

Sunday morning, we braved to cold to meet up with mom, Cat and Ashley at the Molasses Festival. We went last year, but Nico was only 10 months old. Now that he's older he really had a good time.
Here he is being a farmer for the day. He got to paint the house...
...hunt eggs...
...and saddle up!
Here he is on his first real pony ride. His horse's name was Paint Bucket!

Babbo and Tammy's Wedding...

My dad, Babbo, and Tammy got married this weekend in Knoxville. We all (The Mongers and Ashley and Andy) headed over on Thursday afternoon. Nico did really well in the car...he is such a trooper. After eating dinner at Mimi's Cafe, Dad and Tammy came to our room to visit for a while. They got Nico an Elmo DVD and book for being in the wedding-he was one of two ring bearers. Friday morning we all met at IHOP for breakfast. Then Tammy, Ashley and myself were treated to massages. Thanks Dad! After a busy morning it was time to get ready for the wedding. The wedding and reception were beautiful. We all had a great time!
Congratulations you guys!!!
Sitting still...it only lasted long enough for me to get this picture! See that leg? He's ready to make a run for it!
Playing peek-a-boo with the flower "girls": They were actually grown women :)
So handsome in his velvet suit!
Sneaking to play with the water fountain! Anyone looking? Busted!!!

Pumpkin Patch...

We (Nico, mom and myself) headed to the local pumpkin patch last Wednesday. It wasn't the best day for hunting pumpkins. It was chilly and drizzling the entire time. Despite the weather, we had a good old time. We were all covered in mud by the end of it!
Cute little pumpkin!!!
See!!!

Harland...

Nico's buddy, Harland, came over last night to play while his mommy went to a work function. Even though Nico's a little older, they play really well together. They played with trucks, rode cars and bikes and watched Elmo!
Couldn't get them to both look at me at the same time. Oh well!
Hoarding his trucks. He has to hold all of anything he's playing with. If there were 10 trucks in front of him, he would try to pick up and hold onto all 10 of them. He continually drops them and then gets frustrated. Then says, "Mommy, help".
Cutie pie!
Making a monkey face!!!
Got an OK shot as Nico ran in front of the camera :)

Conductor Jack...

If you've ever ridden in the car with Nico for more than five minutes, you know about The Zinghoppers. He LOVES Zinghoppers. Who are The Zinghoppers? Well, a local guy and his wife made a silly, zany childrens' CD that he requests as soon as we get in the car. The guy, Conductor Jack, actually tours around Nashville singing and playing his guitar. Last Tuesday, Nico, Giggy and I headed up to Chick-fil-a for a little Zinghoppers and ice cream. I think Nico was star struck. He didn't want to get out of our laps the entire time.
