Spring as sprung!!! And it feels a lot like summer! We have been busy doing lots of warm weather things: trips to the zoo, water play, cookouts and more!

Oh. Yes. The cicadas. Yuck. That's all I have to say.
Cheekwood Botanical Gardens has an awesome exhibit on display. They have a train track and town made out of sticks and other garden things. There are like 20 miniature TN landmarks dotted along the course. One of the kids' favorites was a little ladybug car that drove around the track itself. It would periodically make an appearance in this little porthole.

Hiding behind a chair to play with Buzz and sneak some candy.
I love these little moments. Stopping and watching instead of interrupting by asking, "Wha cha doing?" Just watching him be him. Wonderful him. I am taking in all of these moments. I'm soaking up all of the I love you mommy's. I am ecstatic about the curiosity that comes with this age. As each month passes by with no positive pregnancy test (almost 2 years) I am a little more heartbroken because I may never see this stage again as a mommy. We are not giving up by any means, it just puts things in perspective. In a weird way I'm grateful because it has made me really cherish this boy (even more than I already did!).
