6 Months...

We went to the doctor today for Nico's 6 month check up. He weighs 18 pounds, 14 ounces (75%). He is 28.5 inches tall (97%). He is doing GREAT! We were given the go ahead to start letting him experiment with table food...this will be fun!!! He is also sitting up really well on his own and is trying to crawl. I can't believe our baby boy is 6 months old. Time really does fly by. I don't take any day for granted. David and I are so lucky to have such a happy, healthy baby. We are so thankful!

Ashley's Graduation Weekend...

Congratulations Ashley! My baby sister graduated from Auburn on Saturday. She got a degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish! We are all SO proud!

Painting Pottery...

I belong to a wonderful Mommy Group here in Nashville. Last night we headed to All Fired Up, a local pottery place, to paint some pottery for our babies. It was a great time!!! We had wine, cheese, hummus and cookies. I made Nico a little box to keep all of the seashells I foresee him collecting. I am sure we will make plenty of trips to the beach and I figured this would be something he could use for a long time. After we finished there we headed to Bosco's for a little more wine and some yummy dinner. It was awesome hanging out with new friends and chatting about husbands, babies and much more. Thanks Giggy, Cat and David for watching Nico so I could have a little mommy time :)
