10 Years Already...

David and I had our 10 year high school reunion this past weekend. It was great! We had a family picnic on Monte Sano Saturday afternoon. Nico went with us to this. It was fun to see all of the babies. We tried to get a good group picture. I'll let you decide for yourself if it is good ;) We just had too many people to try and squeeze in a camera frame. We had a pretty good turn out for the picnic. I'd say we had about 35 alumni plus their dates and kids. Then on Saturday night we reserved the patio at 801 Franklin. This was just for adults. It was fun to get all dressed up and see even more people. We had about 80 or 90 alumni show up to this. It was a good time all around!!!

Just a Swingin'...

Gabby and Paw have a swing set up for the grandbabies on their back porch. Nico is now big enough to swing in it. Guess what...he LOVED it!!! Hope you enjoy the video!

Good Eater...

We have a good eater on our hands! We have given Nico sweet potatoes and peas since the last blog entry and neither one phased him. We no longer mix his baby food with cereal...just straight baby food. I am really thankful that he is doing so well, but it doesn't make for cute pictures...OK, it does ;)

The Zoo...

Nico took his first trip to the Nashville Zoo on Saturday. Nico and I went with mom and Cat. It was so HOT!!! But Nico did really well! He even took a little nap. We got really close to the giraffes. It was a great time!

Carrots...

So after a very successful week of eating rice cereal we decided to take on carrots. We mixed some baby food carrots is with Nico's cereal this evening and he LOVED it!!! We were all waiting for a sour face or a grimace, but nope, he actually liked them! Such a good boy!

Babbling...

This is Nico and David's new game. Makes me laugh every time!!!

Rice Cereal...

So now that things have calmed down a bit around here we tackled (and conquered) rice cereal!!! Nico ate the cereal like a pro! He didn't understand why it wasn't free flowing like the bottle. He would get frustrated when I had to reload my spoon. We were both a sticky mess when it was all said and done.

Matt and Sarah's Wedding...

David and I went to Matt and Sarah's wedding over the weekend. First we went to Auburn to meet up with Jeremy and Tracy, Chris and Danielle and Audrey. Then we headed to LaGrange, GA for the wedding festivities. We all had a great time! It was wonderful seeing everyone!

Mohawk...

Nico loves bath time! David and I have a little fun, too. We give him awesome new hairdo's, bubble beards and much more! It's a great time!!!

The Pool...

Nico had his first experience in the pool last week. We went to my friend Halie's house. Nico wasn't too sure about the cold water or Keenan splashing around. He stayed in the pool for about 10 minutes and then he was ready to get out.

We met Halie and Keenan through Stroller Strides. Come to find out, they live right down the street. I see many play dates in our future.

Highchair Fun...

Before we introduce Nico to solid food we thought it would be good to familiarize him with his highchair. We are tackling one thing at a time. See what happens below!!!
